Count if it is monday?

Hey all; I could not manage to work this out after 1 day research and try my chance here.

I have dates on column A and numbers (both positive,negative and blank cells) at column B.

I want to count how many positive numbers at column B when it is monday .

=COUNTIFS(A2:A999;"Monday";B2:B999;">0") gives a 0 result I dont know why. Thanks.

Serdargurlek: the date u said , is it "days" or "date"
