Conditional formatting from other spreadsheet
Closed
Hello,
Every day I update my excel spreadsheet based on customer demand. My boss uses a separate spreadsheet that pulls from mine. He wants to be able to see if on 7/14 the customer demand was 2,400 then on 7/15 the customer demand changed to 3,900. How would I go about doing that using conditional formatting?

How does one qualify the demand change, does he expect a certain percentage of rise?

In the above example, I selected Conditional Formatting, New rule, set up rules based on formula, then made my formula. In this example, all I did was calculate to see if E5/D5 was greater the 1.9. If it is then highlight the cell RED!
