Firmware problem with the audio port on my laptop
Closed
Hello,
There seems to be a glitch in the dio connector on my laptop. When you connect headphones or speekers there is no stereo sound. When you wiggle on the male connector (in the female conector on the laptop) you get sound in both headphones/speekers. It seems to be a mechanical issue. How can I fix it?

It is mechanical and therefore physical. You have to adjust the contacts to make certain there is not an air gap between connectors! That is how we solve these types of problems!
Thanks for the information. I assume you mean the female connector on the laptop. How do I adjust the connector? I couldn't find any informaton on internet(Google)
