Quick PDF Converter Suite not working

I have just downloaded "Quick PDF Converter Suite", launched it, and tried to convert a large WORD document to PDF. The file is really large, it has 41.023 KB.
After about 10 minutes a message appeared: "File created successfully".
However, there is no PDF file anywhere to be opened.
Moreover, all buttons and menus of the "Quick PDF Converter Suite" are dead. All of them, including the Minimize and Close buttons.
What's wrong, please?
