Help! some keys on my keyboard suddenly stopped working.

i own an Hp pavilion notebook laptop and some keys on my keyboard suddenly stopped working. In short, the only keys that work are (Q.W.O.P.[.A.S.L.;.'.Z.X.) and the numbers at the side. i'm using the onscreen keyboard now and its taking me forever to type. please help.

keyboard failure is common in laptops. The fact that you can use the onscreen keyboard points to a hardware failure. You can use an external USB keyboard until you replace the internal keyboard.
