Hello,
i bought a new WD my passport ultra 2TB, I first configured it in mac system downloaded updated versions and installed & done password creation too. but now i cant access my WD in my pc system. What i have to do to access it in my pc system. it is mandatory that i have to use it in pc system. please do guide me.

Hello pat,

Since the WD drive has been initially formatted and used on MAC, you cannot use its potential on PC.
The reason for that is that Windows system uses different algorithms to access and utilize the drive.
My suggestion is to connect the drive to a MAC computer and if it gets recognized to make a backup of al of the data on the MAC. Then, you have to format it in exFAT format and after that, you have to be able to load all the data on it. Windows supports the exFAT format so you should be able to access the files.
