Hotmail account weird activity

Hi

Recently, my hotmail account got an upgraded look. However, when I sign in to read my emails, the page keeps blinking - like a faulty wire to a light bulb and its happened on several pcs.

I also had two email addresses for the account.A is the primary email address I use to sign into hotmail and send emails, while B is an email alias I created for a short project and haven't used in a while. When the upgraded look came, I noticed on the icon when I can click a dropdown box to view my account or edit my settings/ profile or sign out, my default email was listed as my alias email, B. Previously, only my primary email A, showed in that section. I checked my settings, which had email address A as default email. To be safe, I removed the alias email from the account. Now the dropdown box, that lets me sign out is giving my email as<bold> Default-5491b26-cfab-4af6-9ca5-df499777422d@....

What does that mean? Is my account being hacked somehow or this is hotmail being inefficient?
