I lost all of my emails prior to 8-26-16. Google says they can't recover them. Is their anyway I can get them back?

Hi

Who at Google told you that you can't recover them?

I went to this WEB site: https://support.google.com/mail/workflow/9317561?rd=1&visit_id=637146175845351966-210993344
and they sent an email saying sorry we can't recover your emails. It took 20 seconds to get the response

The response was kind of too fast!

If Gmail has not deleted the messages from the server, you can recover deleted emails after deleting them from your trash folder. You must open your Gmail then click the drop down grey arrow on the left from your search box at the top of the screen. It will then ask you several question such as to: or from, subject, key words or date within. Click on the blue search button on the bottom left of the search box and all of your deleted emails should be revealed.
If you still can’t recover you mails, these links will provide further help

I will go to your links, but I think all of the deleted emails are automatically taken out of my trash folder after a certain length of days. I have recovered what appears to be all of my emails dated back to Aug 26.

So can I recover my emails? They would date back to about June 15.

I started moving all of my email usage to gmail from a local server in which I was using Microsoft Outlook. Now I am really soured on gmail!

See my answer, it's the only way left to you.

Every 30 days, Gmail makes a sweep and deletes what is in trash or spam.

Gmail and other internet email services such as Yahoo or Outlook.com are not a safe place to save or store data, that is why I use Microsoft Office Outlook. (I still have mails from 12 years back)

Good luck

As soon as I get emails back they seem to get deleted right away. Would this have anything as to dates?

No, it has to do that Gmail deleted them from the server.
