If you have not opened your gmail within the last 30 days it is gone! Never set up an emai with a mobile device, but use a workstation because it has so many other options to recover accounts, and it doesn't use your mobile. After you have created the account, go ahead and link your mobile, but fill out all of the details so the service knows it is you from the start!
