Yes, you need to go to Dells drivers and downloads website listed below:
http://support.us.dell.com
Then, you need to download Dells Wi-Fi driver INSTEAD of the Intel driver. After you are finished downloading, installing, and with the reboot of your machine, go into the Control Panel (Add & Remove Programs) and remove the Intel Wi-Fi software because it will conflict with your Dell driver.
After that, you should be all set to do a test. In the lower right hand corner of your screen in the taskbar, you should see an icon that looks like steps. Double - Click on that icon, and then click refresh. If you have wireless network available to you, then you should see them listed.
When you see the networks available, you are finished.
