cable charger keeps turning my acer laptop off. Closed

Hello, 

Recently my acer laptop keeps turning off altogether when I unplug it from the chord/charger and when I manage to tun it back on after reinserting the cable I even have to sign back on to the wifi etc. Because it's an acer I don't know what I should be looking to do to fix it and would like to avoid taking to a tech specialist if I can help it. Please help me somebody.

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 53.0.2785.143

Hello Dan,

In my view, you should first have the battery checked.  If the battery is okay, it looks like you have a power supply problem, meaning that the battery does not take over from the charger.

At a distance, I can't see how I can help you further.
