Hello Fouzaan,
Your laptop originally came with windows vista.
When the pc is booted up to the desktop, you can restart it by pressing the start button in the lower left corner, follewed by clicking "shut down" and then "restart".
If your computer for some reason does not respond to this you can try holding the power button for about 5 seconds. About 30 seconds after it shutting down, press power again and let the laptop boot up. Then give it a clean restart.
