Need to reset my Gmail password have new phone Closed

Question

I recently backed up successfully I at least thought . Change my Gmail password then couple hours later my phone was stolen! I can't remember what I changed the password to and can no longer access my account I keep getting not able to grant me access to my recovery email address! I jeed my contacts as well as my photos I guess I olny had both accounts on the phone but not synced  to get her please help me

When you created the account did you register an alternate email address or phone number to which you have access?

or

When you created the account, did you register a secret question which you remember?
