Booting Problem due to installation of A V

Hello,
I have installed an AVG free Edition Anti Virus in our Office Computer but at the time of installation it was hanged and system could not be restarted. I forcefully shutdown the system and restarted it but the system started unsuccessfully. The desktop could could not come. Even safe mode was not working for a system restore. what to do?

hi,
try to reset the BIOS by removing the CMOS battery and short the CMOS jumper.
replace the battery and then reboot the computer.
