My PC turns on on its own when plugged in.

My Notebook is plugged into an extension which at the same time has an On/Off switch. Every time I switch on the extension my PC turns on skipping its own start switch, how can I avoid it without unplugging it??

There is a setting in the BIOS for that. It should say something to the affect of 'Power on after failure' or 'Power on last state.' Poke around in there and look for a power setting
