Hello,
so last week i had to change my laptop, so i copied my most important files to a samsung 64gb disk on key, and now with my new laptop when i inserted my disk on key, i can only see an empty folder (along with another old folder i had before) the thing is i checked and they're not hidden, and i tried to solve it using the cmd (with the help of some guides)

in the drive properties it say the i have a total of 13.8 gb used space while i can only access 7gb (my old folder)

those are really important files to me so i'll be grateful to anyone of any help
thank you

Hi Thaer Shamma,

So, it seems that the files are inside because they occupy capacity? Could you tell us which CMD command you have used? I would recommend you to use
attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.*

Replace the g letter with the drive letter of your drive. I would recommend you to test the drive on another PC and check if the problem persists. Another option is to use a data recovery tool in order to backup the missing data and then format the drive. Check the link below for some software suggestions:

Hope this helps
