Switch off problem

Hello,
Whwn ever i turn off my computer,,it restarts again..so , I switch off the power..I knw this may hamper my hard disk.. Intially i thought this may be coz of virus and so i installed an anti virus..Still the problem remains...What should i do??

Are you sure you're clicking on "Shut down" and not "Restart?"

yes i'm sure i'm clickin on shut down ........Is der some pblm with da boot sector???? If so wat shud i do????
