Hi Amos,
Please test the drive on another PC and with another USB cable. The transfer speeds may be affected by a drive performance issue, a connectivity problem or a USB port problem. If the drive is working normally on another PC, make sure you have your USB drivers updated. Check the motherboard manufacturer’s web page for the most recent updates. If you manage to backup all important data, download the drive manufacturer’s diagnostic tool and scan the drive for errors.
