Hello distubed,
What do you mean by stored? You haven't used it for while or? You must know that depending of the BIOS that your laptop originally had, the beeps could mean different things like:
CMOS error
RAM problem
CPU error
My advice is to bring the laptop to a PC comprany to make the apropriate tests with the hardware, because the problem could turn out to be more severe.
