Hello,

Can anyone help?

My computer was running fine until I found an old cd with Jedi Knights 2 on it, so I went to install the game for old times sake and it started installation fine until around 22% then there was a clicking sound coming from or near one of the hard discs, the computer then restarted and now it wont acknowledge the hard disc so I tried restarting with the xp disc in but it still wont recognise the hard disc or let me set up windows it just gets to a certain point and says press a key to reboot. I opened her up and disconnected the hdd cables and put them back but frankly I have no idea what Im doing. Im an electrician but Im not too clued up on pc systems.

I dont know much about the system other than its custom built, its got two hard disc drives, 64mb ram, two dvd drives a floppy drive and its about five years old. If anymore information would help me get an answer to sort this out, tell me what you need to know and where to find it and Ill seek it out.

What have I done wrong? What do I do now?
