Can you share more information about the issue that you have? What implied the format of the hard drive? Did you receive any error prior to that? I also, would like to know if the F: drive is an additional hard drive in your laptop or it is the optical device. If it is so, you won't be able to format it.
Can you tell me, please if you have wiped out the whole HDD during an OS install or just formated a separate partition of the disk?
