My dell inspiron 11 3000 series won't turn on.

I have a dell inspiron 11 3000 series, and I love it! It is hard to use a computer without touch screen. I have had some issues after version 10 came on board. Missing files was the biggy. Right now my problem is that the computer will not turn on. Even with a full charge. A friend told me to check if the wires on the hard drive came loose. I can't see how to open the case to check it out. If anyone has a suggestion I am capable to try please send it. Thanks

I can not remove the battery because i don't know the proper procedure to open the case. I removed all the screws, but could not lift the cover off. My father always told me, "never force anything" so I only applied minimal force. Can anyone help me with this situation?
