Hey there Baba,
There are some data recovery programs that could do the job. You could search for them over the Internet. Some of them are paid and others are free. Look and see if you can find anything which will be suitable.
If they don't help you, then you could try to access the data using Linux Live USB / CD. Within the Ubuntu forum you can see the steps how to make a bootable flash. Once you have downloaded the .iso file, change the boot priority on the computer where the HDD is placed. It is done through the BIOS and you must change the boot priority to be from USB ports and not the HDD. When it boots from the PC, you have to click on try option and not on the option to install the OS.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
What problem are you facing with your drive? If everything fine then you can connect your hard disk to the system and take backup.
If your hard drive is not detecting, then you can check it by connecting to another device. Take the back up immediately if hard drive detected.
Otherwise, check the problem in a hard drive it can be the logical or physical failure. If there is the logical failure, then you can recover data with the help of software.
And in the case of physical hard drive failure, you have no option except opting data recovery service.

PCB - The circuit board (usually on very cheap of your onerous drive) controls most of your onerous drive's functions, still as translating disc drive data into clear data. Circuit boards are typically green.
Platters - skinny disks that store data. Platters are to blame for most of the noise you hear once your disc drive starts up. Unless you are a professional with access to a white room and also the necessary equipment, you will not be ready to fix your onerous drive's platters on your own.

In more serious cases it's necessary to send the drive a hard drive data recovery service. Hardware data recovery may be a more expensive path as technicians may need to disassemble the drive to recover the data. drive data recovery is usually worn out a 'clean room' as onerous drives area unit sealed to avoid errors caused by mud or other particles. hard drives area unit finely tuned machinery and it takes specialist equipment to scan the platters from a physically damaged drive.
If you're sending your drive to a data recovery specialist then you must attempt to obtain an upfront estimate of fees (although you may seldom get one), raise that if you send your drive for quotation purposes can they send it back to you within the same condition if you select to not use the service, and ensure you send it to a reputable company as you'll solely get one chance at drive data recovery.
