How to unlock a write protected flash drive

Hello all
@rough@2017, have you tried to access the flash drive on several computers or have you plugged it to different ports? If you haven't, I guess, it's time to do so. You could try to access the pen drive through Windows. Please, follow these steps:
1. Open command prompt
2. Type the following:
attrib -s -h -r X:/*.* /s /d
Then hit "Enter" and wait about for some seconds
Be careful! Respect the spaces between words and script. Change the letter X with that has been assigned to the USB device on your PC /that you can see it in My Computer. It can be anything, depends on each computer./
3. Finally, browse the flash drive and delete the recycle folder and if there is another one called "Autorun" you have to delete that too.
Please, come back to the topic to tell us what happened.

The write protected error message is often displayed in error when Windows can not write to the disk. It can display this error when it should display "I/O error during write operation".
I suspect you will need to replace the drive.
