Cannot start computer after shutting down

Hello,
I started up my computer this am and it was a black screen with this message on it:

Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
system32\DRIVERS\pci.sys
You can attempt to repair this file by starting Windows Setup
using the original Setup CD-ROM. Select "r" at the first screen to start repair.



I have no CD that says this I purchased my computer with this already loaded from the company
Please help!

I will advise you to run windows on safe mode when starting the pc!

All you have to do is doing a system restore from a date when your pc was working fine
