Hello,

I have a template where we are asking for responses with a drop down that includes Y, N, and N/A. We want to highlight all N answers in yellow within the dropdown, so that if a person selects N, they see the highlight and proceed to give additional detail. How can I do this so that just the N's in the dropdowns are highlighted yellow?

Thank you

MeganN, Good afternoon.

Suppose you want your dropdown at D4 cell.

Select D4 cell
Conditional Format Menu -->
Using formula -->
Type: =D4="Y"
Format color as you want.
OK

Please, tell us if it worked for you.
I hope it helps.
