Monitor won't connect to desktop anymore

Hello, I was doing an update on itunes but then my computer went black and shut down. When I tuned it back on the signal wasn't detected by my monitor so I was going to power it down but holding the button wouldn't work. So I unplugged it and pressed the power button for a minute then plugged it back in and turned it on and still nothing. Then I pulled out and reinserted my graphics card to see if that would do anything, not detected. I also swapped out my vga wire, tried dvi and hdmi. I might just open it back up again and pull out and reinsert, check the wiring tomorrow evening. I don't have any spare parts to swap anything out since I tossed or sold any parts I stopped using. Anyways, I'm pretty stumped.
