Computer won't start

Hello,

I have a Dell computer I put it in the charge yesterday night and today I opened it and the noise came out that meant it was on and I could feel the heat on the side I pressed The power button 10 times and I checked if it was in charge and if it's connected but it was. I left it for five minutes and came back and it still didn't work please help
