Commands "cut", "paste" are not highlighted

Hello everyone! Just need a little help here. I just installed Office 2007 on a new computer using Windows 7. It installed pretty well, the only thing is that the commands "cut", "paste" are not highlighted, can't use these on a document. I don't know how to fix this.

Can you explain: "cut", "paste" are not highlighted" ? How do you proceed?
