Thé keyboard is not working

Hello,
I must have pressed a command button by mistake and now my keyboard is not responding.
This happened before I was able to log in to my computer with my password, which means I don't have access to the control panel or the internet. Currently writing from another device.
The mouse is still working so I can still sleep shut down or restart but that is strictly it.

Whatever button I pressed, including Caps, num, shift, etc, nothing happens.

What can I do?

Is this a laptop? Have you tried an external keyboard?

Hi Ambucias,
This is a desktop.
The problem is now solved tho, with a change of battery! Relief.

I did not realize batteries could go off in an instant, one moment it works the next it's frozen, but there you go.
