FB recovery help!!!!!

Hello,

A few years ago someone hacked my account and my FB account was disabled.
I wrote FB and they helped me, change passwords and put me on a 24 hour hold.
They contacted me the next day to inform me it was hacked again. My husband and I had just decided to divorce after 20 years and I never had the emotional concentration to put effort to getting back up. I lost 8 years of pictures of my boys growing up and 750 contacts from all over the world. Is it too late to try to recover my old account?
