I cant access any website,it cant find server

Hello,
i have been using internet directly on my phone(NOKIA 3110C),when i connect it with my laptop so as to use it as a modem,it showed that its connected to the internet,but my PROBLEM IS THAT I CANT ACCESS ANY SITE, ITS TELLING ME THAT IT CANT FIND SERVER.what can i do

Did you use nokia pc suite for connecting your cellphone to your laptop?
