No connection in monitor shown

I have a vga monitor and a dvi CPU I connected the vga cable through an adapter to the dvi CPU.The cpu starts perfectly but the monitor shows no connection. Pls tell me what to do

When you press the monitor display menu button, does it show anything? So in other words, can you make the display brighter, perhaps?

Hello,

One day, out of the blue, my router's WAN connection went down. I went through troubleshooting and turned it off and back on, yada yada yada. I followed the ethernet (or whatever its called) cable back the the phone jack on the wall where it plugs in and unplugged it. When I did that, I noticed a clear, sticky, almost booger like substance and I thought it might be some type of glue. However, this substance had found it's way into the connection and something told me that it doesnt belong there. Lenovo monitor won't turn on

Hello,
every single time I turn it on it says power saving and go to sleep it was just working until I moved it to a different spot in my room everything else is working but the monitor keeps saying power saving mode it won't show my desktop or anything I checked the cords and I'm pretty sure they aren't loose help me please

MY CPU and my desktop we're working earlier today.. The problem I have is that, after I had moved my cpu to another room due to the lack of space we had in the previous room... My cpu's desktop just says d-sub no signal while everything else is working perfectfly... Please help I really need my cpu and with all these problems im having im unable o complete some assignments
Any help will be muc appreciated

Hello,

Yesterday, I was thinking of upgrading my RAM. I bought 512 MB SD RAM, but when I opened my CPU I realized that I am not sure if my machine has SD RAM in it. So, I didn't put the new RAM. I then tried to switch on the machine to run some utility for checking my RAM type.

Unfortunately, when I switched on my machine, my display didn't come up. Now, I am having no clue what went wrong as everything looks fine but there is no display.

When I disconnected my monitor from the CPU, I get a test message as no signal. My monitor looks fine. Please help in sorting the issue out.
