Hello,

i had installed win xp on my HP DV4 1220 us but i had a problem in the wireless card driver installation

What is the make and model of this laptop.

HP pavilion DV4 1220 us and i had downgraded win XP SP2

it seems they are not drivers for the XP operating system. some manufacturers have stopped making drivers for XP as windows 7 is soon to be released too.

best thing to do is to buy a netgear wireless USB and install their software and use that.
