First of all, I want to say "hi!" How are you all?
I have an old laptop with a battery issue and it has stopped working now. I am wondering whether I can still use the old hard drive from it as there are some important files that I have stored there.

You should be able to use a USB adapter cable to access the drive. It it's a full sized desk top drive then you will need an adapter kit that includes a power supply.

Good Luck

Hi,

If your hard drive is detected by another laptop then you can easily recover deleted files from that drive. However, if the drive is not been recognized then it is not that easy to recover your data, in such case you need to take help from the data recovery service centre. Alternatively, if the drive is recognizable then you can download the Stellar Phoenix Windows data recovery software for recovering your data from that laptop hard drive.
