Can't get to the main menu on my iPod

Hi,

I’m pressing and holding the menu button as directed, but I don't get a main menu to change the language to English.

Please help!

Hello,

Try restarting your iPod by powering it on and off. If that doesn't work, try a factory reset. Which iPod edition do you have?

It says its an iPod mini but I used to have a mini and it was considerably smaller than this one. It looks like a classsic to me where is the power button? It says to not disconnect it without ejecting it first but I don’t know how to eject it either
