I cant get into windows xp

Hello,
im billy, and i got this computer from my mom and she asked me to take the computer so i can get into it... it was her husbands that passed away last year and he put all them password's on it and she wants in it. she wants me to try in to fix it and when i log on the computer it needs a password, and i double click ctr+al+delete and there's a administor's password. what can i do to get into the computer? ic ant go on safe mode without the password... can i reboot it and it will take off? can i do to get in atleast please help me!!! :) thanks sooooooo much guys n girls =]
