Meenupa, with 2gig of RAM it sounds like you may have a memory leak somewhere. First thing is to identify where.
In Vista hit CTRL+SHIFT+ESC to bring up the Task Manager. Bring down the View Menu then Select Columns and tick boxes for Virtual Memory Size and Image Path Name, then OK. Sort your list in order of Virtual Memory Size, largest first, and post here which processes are taking up most of the memory and how much of it.
