Bogus xp20008 2009 Killed My Laptop. Now what

Hello, my laptop was infected with the bogus XP2008 and 2009 virus and now my laptop won't even boot up. Have I lost the contents of my computer for ever or is there a solution?

hi there

ur prob are
ur comp does not boot in normal mode
n is infected by the fake xp virus

first things first in order to get ur system started start it in safe mode

carry out system restore in safe mode to the date thje system was working perfectly (the last dates are in bold fonts)

if it does not allow the system to restore which the virus usally disables upon intalltion

click start menu>run

type msconfig

press enter

click the services & teh start up tab

now look out for any unwanted of suspicious files that have been ticked

delet those ones only

clik ok

now resrt ur system in normal mode

now reply to me if ur system has start in normal mode

of course the xp virus is still there


ill teel the later steps upon ur confirmation

pls check ur hardware

thats the colling fan for the chip

open the side cover

turn the pwer on

ans see if the fan fitted on the chip is working

check if the clap is broken or is it losely fitted

as overheating of the chip and the system auto shuts down

its fitted on the motherboard

if so the replace it wit a new one

check this and let me know the feed back
