Help!/Toshiba satellite reformat

Hello,
i have reformatted my toshiba satellite but programs wont work,i have never come across this problem before,im wondering if it is a driver issue or something else....please does anyone know why this is so?And should i just reformat again and hope for the best.P.S reformatting it was not straight forward like it always has been for me when ive done that to other pc's.
