Hello,

Recently I have been trying to make a downgrade to a laptop computer Acer Aspire 5517 from Windows 7 to Windows XP Professional SP3. But when I run the Windows XP CD on the computer, it loads all the necessary files for the installation process but when the computer should restart in order to proceed installing the XP the screens turns blue and show a message saying that I should check if the computer has a virus, to disconnect other hard drives installed on the computer, the drivers of the hard disk is not installed, to make a scan in order to check if the hard disk is not having damaged sectors and to restart computer. It doesn't allow me to format the hard disk or to install XP Professional.

Could you please give me an idea about why this is happening? Is there something on the computer blocking this installation?
