Sims 3 wont load

Hello,
I have played the sims 3 a bunch of times and i recently installed a mod, just for height, and it orked fine more then once and my computer told me to refresh the system so i did and ever since my sims 3 wont work and it is legally bought! I need to play the sims!!! i have windows 7 and a dell inspiron 1545
