I bought an acer comp last year with vista on it, its got a load of viruses on it cos my boyfriend went crazy downloading things and stuff. It workds really slowly now and the net wont work at all. I want to wipe the system clean and start from scratch with it but i have no idea how. I also don't remember if the computer came with any installation disks - I can't find any now. I know someone with a disk with XP on (which I'd prefer to vista) can I re-install with this, or at least re-install vista or SOMETHING to get all the rubbish off my hard drive??
(I'm an idiot when it comes to comps so please speak slowly lol)
