Broken laptop

Hello,

laptop wont turn on properly. lights are on. but screen isn't. no sound either. not sure if it boots up either. lights are on and fan kicks in so its powering up.
laptop is a Fujitsu Siemans Esprimo Mobile V5535

any help would be much appreciated.
