Itune problem - unable to locate component

Hello,
I'm having problems with Itunes. Pop up window saying, Apple Sync Notifier.exe unable to locate component .....Core Foundation.dll was not found.
Can I re-install this component or do I have to un=install and re-install the complete program?

this is the source which is best for solving this sort of dll related issues.
