Hello,

I have recently bought a Dual Core Processor 2.7Ghz along with an Intel G41 RQ mother Board.I have also bought 1GB DDR2 Ram with it.................I earlier had a 1GB DDR1 ram.....My question is ........Can I, by any means use DDR1 ram along with my new stuff? Is there a sloution to it? Othwerwise the DDR1 would become a sheer waste.
Also tell me what would happen in case I make both, DDR1 and DDR2 Rams work simuiltaenously on the mother Board...........

Hello,

DDR1 RAM and the DDR2 RAM are totally different. DDR1 RAM will be having

184 pins where are the DDR2 RAM is going to have 240 pins. You cannot place

the DDR1 RAM in the DDR2 RAM's slot because the pins are different and also the

notch placement.

Good Luck.
