Screen wont work on laptop?

Heyy, so lastnight i was on my laptop and i didnt shut the computor down, i just closed the laptop screen... It was fully charged though. In the middle of the night i saw this orangey/ red flashing going on and off. I tried to turn it on and it started to work and the light went green but the screen didnt? What do i do? Help please? Thanks

Greetings,

This should solve the issue:

*Take out the battery,

*Remove main supply,

*Hold power button down for 32 secs,

*Put only power supply in, do not put battery in

*Turn laptop on

*Put the battery in.
