I can't get audio to work on my Acer Aspire

Hello,

I'm not sure what's going on - the sound hasn't worked for a while now, every time i start up my computer the 'Found New Hardware Wizard' comes up and says that it can't install the High Definition Audio Bus. I have 'High Definition Audio Driver Package KB888111 in my current list of installed programs. Can anyone help and tell me what i need to do to it the audio working?

Hello,

Try this 1

Go to your manufacture website, download the chipset and the audio drivers.

Install the chipset drivers first and then the audio drivers.

If the problem still exits then

Click on the below link and download the file

https://download.cnet.com/s/kb888111xpsp2-exe/

Install it --> Restart your laptop --> Then install the chipset drivers and then

audio drivers.
