System Boots, Screen Fails to Show up

Hello all,

If you can help me out that would be great!

When I start up my laptop (plugged in, without the battery) it starts normally. However, the screen fails to start. It happens the same way when I insert the battery without plugging it in. My model is an HP, and I've only had it for like a year (thus, the warranty is no longer in service). Is there any cheap alternatives without having to go to BEST BUY or any store for them to fix it?

If so, how much do you think it would be?

hi,
it seems that your battery has gone out of order.
get it replaced.
if you are not qualified for the task, it's better that you refer it to qualified personals.
