Windows 7 Battery!

Hello,
My HP Probook 4710s battery icon has a red X on it and sends me a message saying consider replacing it, I have windows 7 how to do i fix it. the battery is charging but it drains really quick ever since that X appeared on the icon.
(I can not afford to buy A battery)
Help Me Please.
